Doosan Puma 800 lathe series

Puma 800 lathes are the largest in Doosan’s range and provide a powerful and reliable turning solution for large component manufacturers.

These lathes have a large chucking capability (32” chuck) and a large through spindle bore capacity (320mm), and have been designed to machine large and heavy work-pieces.

Puma 800 machines are used extensively in the power generation, oil and gas and large automotive sectors, and deliver outstanding part accuracies, surface finishes and process reliability.

The machines’ performance is enhanced by fast servo-driven turret indexing; impressive rapid rates and high-rigidity LM roller guides that help increase productivity and accuracy.

In addition to their impressive technical specifications, Lynx 220 lathes are supplied by Mills with: Automatic Tool Setters, Parts Catchers, tailstocks (for non- sub-spindle machines), and the Manual Guide/Conversational Programming System, as standard.

The Lynx 220 range comprises seven different models including machines with long beds, sub-spindles, C-axes and driven tools.
